We are seeking an experienced Social Media Coordinator to drive the development and execution of our clients’ social media content strategies. As an essential part of the creative team, you will work to create, monitor, and coordinate our clients’ social media content across all social channels. The ideal candidate has experience with all popular social media platforms, is highly organized, proactive, and willing to roll up their sleeves.
Responsibilities
- Staying on top of what is trending on social media to identify what can be implemented for client social strategies
- Attend events and photoshoots to capture photo/video, with the goal of turning it into engaging and impactful content across all channels
- Pitch and brainstorm new content and marketing ideas, including but not limited to: social media partnerships with influencers/ambassadors, product launches, content themes, trends
- Manage, publish and create content for all social media platforms in accordance with calendars and cross-functional marketing activities
- Support community management by engaging daily with client audiences, including but not limited to: answering DMs and public comments across all channels
- Regularly review analytics and KPI’s to understand how client social channels are performing and work collaboratively to improve results
- Ideate, create and/or brief content for client social channels
Requirements
- Excellent writing, editorial and project management skills
- Proficient in managing, publishing and creating content for all social media platforms and related apps, including: Instagram, TikTok, Capcut, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest
- Minimum 1-2 years experience working as a Social Media Coordinator or in a related role with a portfolio showcasing your skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends for special events and launches as required
- Proficient in using Google, Microsoft Office, Slack, Asana, Hootsuite, and Later
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies or a related field of study
- Strong content creation background with experience capturing and editing mobile video and photo content
