Senior Paralegal - Hybrid

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Paralegal to join the Montreal office of this thriving international company and provide integral support to the legal department and Canadian counsel. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities

• Provide litigation support to Counsel as needed.
• Assist the legal department re: a variety of agreements, such as service contracts and non-disclosure agreements;
• Provide support to the legal team on transactions, prepare Board resolutions, asset lists, schedules re: purchase and sale agreements etc.;
• Prepare the company handbook, policies, procedures and code of conduct; and
• Assist re: the administration of partnerships and corporate entities in Canada, work with external counsel, including maintaining minute books, drafting Board resolutions and preparing filings;
• Oversee the administration of legal records, which include documents prepared by corporate officers and file management;

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be/have:

• General knowledge of requirements re: corporations and limited partnerships in Canada;
• A Bachelor's degree in Law, Business or a related discipline;
• A Paralegal certification;
• Solid attention to detail and the ability to handle competing priorities;
• Strong communication, drafting and analytical skills;
• Bilingual (English and French);
• Approximately 8 or more years of pertinent work experience;
• Able to work autonomously and in a fast paced work environment; and
• Basic experience with Microsoft Office.
