H55 is composed of highly experienced engineers, entrepreneurs and managers and is seeking like mind talented professionals who understand how to couple creativity and innovation with technical and business considerations.

Your Role

We are looking to expand our System engineering team and hire Senior Systems Engineer, reporting to the Head of System Engineering.

Responsabilities will be the following:

• Responsible for the certification, qualification and testing strategy.
• Approve program level configuration for production (system shipset).
• Responsible for the overall architecture, including the management all product trades and new technology introduction.
• First technical point of contact for the program manager, management and the customer throughout the life of the product.
• Responsible for product change management.
• Responsible to ensure the design to meet all requirements.
• Chair and facilitator of program milestone reviews.
• Accountable to deliver the overall product solution; on time, cost and quality.

Your profile:

• Management skills, resources and budget.
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in the aviation sector typically 5+ years, bringing projects to successful completion.
• Thorough knowledge of the involved engineering disciplines.
• Technical / engineering experience in aviation/aerospace with direct client management/engagement.
• University degree (Master’s Degree) in a relevant engineering discipline (System Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Power Electronics, Energy Systems).
• Good understanding of certification and production methods and standards in aviation.
• Broad knowledge of other engineering disciplines, HW/SW development, mechanical engineering to assess/coordinate the product development cycle on a high level.
• Strong understanding of the company’s key competitive strengths - technology, pricing, manufacturing capabilities, plans to scale, etc. - and being able to use these qualifications for identifying, engaging and increasing the company’s customer base.

• At ease and comfortable with fast commercially growing small high-tech companies where product and technology offerings still need to be matured and proven in the market.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) and if possible, in French and German
• Ability to seamlessly work independently as well as in close cooperation with different organization centers in a fast-paced environment
• Illustrates strong customer focus / mind-set
• Hands-on execution management
• Driven by team spirit and transparent cooperative communication style
• Consensual personality with visible interpersonal qualities
