As the Senior Manager you will lead a team across technology and marketing to define the business needs and capabilities to successfully deliver Marketing transformational initiatives related to Marketing technology. Change is inevitable, and the processes around this function need to continuously improve to support the ongoing needs of the organization while ensuring success metrics and core Marketing objectives are met. Working with the various Marketing teams will allow you to learn about the different areas across Marketing and how best to support them. This position allows you to think creatively to drive new and outstanding approaches to a vital function and lead Marketing into the future of our vision.

Return to Office: As of March 2022 Loblaw has adopted the following Hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 2 days a week, while spending the other 3 days in the office.


What you will do:


  • Business Needs Identification: Work with Marketing teams to identify business scope, needs & use cases to address the business challenge and develop a complete plan including success metrics to ensure technology partners have a clear understanding to assess and implement the right solutions to deliver successfully.
  • Organizational Change: Coordinates the development and delivery of programs to upskill Marketing teams and supporting definition of new operating models to drive action and value from initiatives into the Marketing organization.
  • People Leadership: Develops team performance against strategic objectives and important metrics through mentorship and professional
  • Driving Adoption & Success: Leads the development of a measurement framework and dashboard, including defining critical metrics and establishing baseline benchmarks to ensure success. Incorporates both Marketing teams input and other key collaborators to ensure the framework reflects leading practice. Works closely with Marketing Brand teams, Loblaw Agency, Loblaw Media, and Loblaw Technology to implement solutions that support measuring- key marketing critical metrics to enable strategic decision making.
  • Collaboration: Builds and maintains collaborative partnerships with relevant teams across the organization (e.g., Loblaw Digital, Customer Centre of Excellence, LTA, Divisional Analytics teams, Loblaw Media) to advocate for Marketing’s technology needs, and ensure accessibility of required inputs. Builds a knowledge of Loblaw Companies Limited’s currently available assets, tools, and capabilities, and promotes the advancement to Marketing’s priorities to technology & vendor partners as the conduit to be Marketing’s voice.
  • Innovation: Pursues leading practice and innovative approaches to bring best in class marketing capabilities related to tech to the organization


Outcomes:


  • Upskilling of Marketing organization to lead change in the organization to embrace to new practices and ways of working through implementation of recent technology capabilities
  • Definition of baseline success metrics that support business case development for initiatives and support overall Marketing goals for annual planning support.
  • Delivery of quick wins and long-range planning initiatives for Martech roadmap
  • Adoption of data/assets/tools in Marketing organization and meeting expected target utilization %


What you will need:


  • Credible experience with Martech Platforms and tools – CDP (Customer Data Platform), Analytics platforms (i.e., Looker, MMM (Marketing Mix Modelling), Adobe analytics, etc.), Creative Optimization tools, Media activation platforms
  • Project management, Take to market & Change leadership experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Transformational/Implementation roles and/or project management across large and executive audiences.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with multiple collaborators to build a comprehensive strategy, roadmap & action plan to deliver key achievements for Marketing
  • People leadership to manage & support a team – while also building top talent
  • PMP designation is an asset
  • Build story telling presentations to support marketing strategy & vision to gain alignment & support from executives
  • Bachelor's degree or MBA – focused on Marketing, Analytics, Business Technology, etc.
  • Experience working with project management tools – Workfront, Jira, Confluence, MS Projects, etc.

Retour au bureau : Depuis mars 2022, Loblaw adopte le modèle de travail hybride suivant (combinaison de télétravail et de travail au bureau). Les collègues continueront de travailler à distance jusqu’à deux jours par semaine et devront passer les trois jours restants au bureau.


Tâches :


  • Identification des besoins de l’entreprise : Collaborer avec les équipes de marketing pour déterminer la portée, les besoins et les cas d’utilisation de l’entreprise afin de relever le défi commercial et élaborer un plan complet comprenant des mesures de succès pour s’assurer que les partenaires technologiques comprennent bien comment évaluer et mettre en œuvre les bonnes solutions pour réussir.
  • Innovation : Mettre en œuvre des pratiques exemplaires et des approches novatrices afin d’offrir les meilleures capacités de marketing liées à la technologie à l’organisation.
  • Leadership en matière de personnel : Former une équipe performante par rapport aux objectifs stratégiques et aux mesures importantes au moyen du mentorat.
  • Collaboration : Établir et maintenir des partenariats de collaboration avec les équipes pertinentes à l’échelle de l’organisation (p. ex., Services numériques Loblaw, Centre d’excellence de la clientèle, Données et analyses de Loblaw, équipes d’analyses de division, Loblaw Media) pour défendre les besoins en matière de technologies et pour assurer l’accessibilité aux avis requis.   • Perfectionnement de l’organisation de marketing afin de diriger le changement dans l’entreprise et ainsi adopter de nouvelles pratiques et de nouvelles façons de travailler grâce à la mise en œuvre de capacités technologiques récentes.


Qualifications :


  • Au moins 5 ans d’expérience en marketing, en transformation/mise en œuvre ou en gestion de projets auprès d’un grand public, y compris de cadres.
  • Capacité de créer des présentations narratives pour soutenir la stratégie et la vision de marketing et obtenir l’harmonisation et le soutien des cadres.
  • Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en administration des affaires – axé sur le marketing, les analyses, les technologies d’affaires, etc.
  • Solide expérience avec les plateformes et les outils de technologie du marketing : plateforme de données sur les clients, plateformes d’analyse (Looker, MMM [Modélisation du marketing mix], outils d’analyse Adobe, etc.), outils d’optimisation de la création, plateformes d’activation des médias.
  • Titre professionnel de PMP, un atout.
  • Expérience en gestion de projet, en mise en marché et en gestion du changement.
  • Capacité à diriger et à travailler avec plusieurs collaborateurs pour élaborer une stratégie, un plan directeur et un plan d’action complets afin de réaliser les réalisations principales du marketing.
  • Expérience de travail avec des outils de gestion de projet – Workfront, Jira, Confluence, MS Projects, etc.
  • Leadership en matière de personnel pour gérer et soutenir une équipe, tout en développant des talents de premier plan.
