Location: Markham (3 Days In-Office After Probation)
Our client, a privately held group of companies with investments in education and food service, is looking to bring on a Marketing Manager to help lead Marketing projects and B2B strategy on a growing team.

The Marketing team is a Business Partner team and as such supports each of the company’s four business units as well as a corporate entity in achieving revenue and growth targets through various marketing initiatives and ongoing support.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and execute successful demand-generation and lead-generation campaigns including Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
- Think strategically, while also being able and willing to get hands-on with marketing campaign execution
- Create integrated marketing/content campaigns across all media to attract/engage and convert prospects into customers.
- Build a Trusted Partner relationship with Business Unit Leadership and their teams
- Identify and develop partnerships and sponsorship opportunities that will build the brand and Business Units’ brands alongside the Director of Marketing and Business unit heads
- Work with the Marketing Co-Ordinator on creating engaging social media campaigns to grow brand awareness and attract leads
- Help develop the journey map and value proposition of the Ideal Customer with the Director of Marketing
- Connect Marketing to Brand and Culture
- Develop and deliver successful client acquisition strategies with the Director of Marketing
- Partner with Business Units and Marketing team to drive acquisition and growth efforts across multiple channels including website, blog, advertising, email, events/trade shows, partnerships, and coordinated campaign
- Manage agencies and vendors to support the production of content and design, and be the gatekeeper to ensure deliverables are up to standard and align with our brand guidelines
- Serve as a key point of coordination between the Marketing team as well as Business Units
- Ensure continuous market and audience research for the target audience is conducted
- With the Director of Marketing, monitor and track performance vs KPIs and budgets, evaluate campaign effectiveness/ROI, use data driven insights to optimize programs and performance
- Track and monitor brand health within the local competitive set and make recommendations to partners based on data
- Develop/execute/manage/participate in events (virtual and IRL) to engage our client base and report on ROI
- Create online/offline content with the Marketing team and outside agencies (when needed) to ensure all Business Units’ website are constantly updated
- Manage projects from inception to completion
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing to formulate/execute (eventually lead) the strategies/plans to support Business Unit’s goals.
- Own the campaign and content marketing activities from ideation, planning to execution
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and people skills
- Experience using WordPress for web development
- Strong Design abilities using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) and Canva are a plus
- Proficient with marketing and sales technology platforms (Eloqua/Marketo, Salesforce, HubSpot), with the proven ability to learn new tools quickly
- Outstanding project management skills, including an ability to take inputs from a variety of internal and external sources and maintain up-to-date documentation
- Strong creative skills and deep knowledge of digital marketing and the ability to independently manage digital channels, including the company website, SEO/SEM, and social media
- High level of digital literacy - The ability to discover, evaluate, and use information and technology effectively, including but not limited to high fluency in Microsoft office suite, ability to use apps and various digital tools, intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, reporting and analyzing of data/metrics
- Efficient, highly productive multitasker; self-motivated and flexible, thrives in an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment
- Pay attention to details-Accuracy and quality matter
- Highly organized with the ability to identify and optimize processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to build insights and refine marketing plans
- 3-5 years of work experience focused on content marketing, and digital marketing, preferably for a B2B environment
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing required
