Job Description

Our client is seeking a driven and passionate Senior Sales Executive for their team. As the Senior Account Executive, you will implement sales strategies, build, and manage a sales pipeline, and drive revenue growth for the company’s software services department.


Working closely with the Director of Sales, you will contribute to long-term business strategy and growth within the mining and oil & gas sector. This Account Executive will work remotely, but must be located in the Calgary, AB region.


What you’ll do

  • Maintain relationships with key customers
  • Work closely with other departments, such as product development, operations and customer success, to ensure that the sales efforts align with overall business strategy and goals
  • Manage and track activities, tasks, notes and customer details to ensure easy forecasting and lead organization
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners and identify new business opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and other networking events
  • Focus on driving revenue growth and increasing market share through effective sales and business development efforts


What you have

  • Experience effectively presenting information to all levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • 5+ experience selling in the mining or oil & gas industry
  • 7+ years of experience selling services, including executing sales plans, working in sales teams and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Understanding of business and market trends and the ability to identify new business opportunities
