Job Description

About The Job

The GlobalTill Partnership and Alliances team is looking for a Partner Account Executive focused on the development and growth of our partner accounts. In this role, you will focus on managing and growing our share of business through working with the existing partners and expanding and enriching the partner portfolio to capture additional business opportunities. You'll define and implement initiatives with partners to ensure growth along with finding, recruiting, and enabling new partners.


As a Partner Account Executive, you will work to create activities and processes that promote GlobalTill's offerings, develop and further grow our successful partner ecosystem, and encourage new partners to adopt and promote our services and solutions. You’ll need to have experience with solutions selling, value proposition creation, and justification, including return on investment (ROI) calculation, B2B scenarios formulation, and proven experience finding key GlobalTill target vertical accounts and management and a solid understanding of the channels landscape. You should have a demonstrated new business record and a passion for success.


Working Environment

  • (Optional) Work from our office in Calgary, or flex work with a subscription to co-working spaces available nationwide
  • Schedule is Monday to Friday
  • Work location is flexible and well qualified home-based applicants will be considered to work remotely in Canada


What You Will Do

  • Work with our partner sales and marketing teams to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Create and develop a business plan that generates a long-lasting relationship
  • Set and conduct a regular cadence of reviews with your partner portfolio to secure the continuous communication, quality, and synchronized delivery and key performance indicator (KPI) achievement
  • Foster a team culture and share best practices
  • Serve as the point of contact for partner communication and escalation
  • Support management forecasts, close deals, record sales activity, and track customer data using company-standard systems and tools
  • Manage the full end-to-end process for a set of partners to develop the business in your territory
  • Meet the strategic objectives, go-to-market, and growth with your named partners
  • Develop long-term solutions with partners that will require the embedding of GlobalTill’s technology
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship with partner executive and technical leaders so that all of GlobalTill’s activities are closely aligned with the customer’s business goals


What You Will Bring

  • Passion for success; ability to work as part of a team and wanting to be part of a growing successful business and channels team 5+ years of experience in sales and business development in a partner ecosystem.
  • Motivated and practical; ability to work with partners as well as with a broad range of internal stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with partners that have various levels of technical expertise
  • Experience managing and leading solutions providers and system integrators (SIs), including a sound understanding of how to successfully enable sell-with and sell-through activities
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Not required but a plus: retail experience; wholesale experience; eCommerce experience; bachelor’s degree from accredited university
  • Proven experience entering new markets or significantly growing an existing market with a partner-focused approach
  • Solutions selling experience ranging from the understanding of the end customer industry scenario to their specific needs and problems and to the value proposition creation and justification, including ROI calculation, through the partner solutions based on GlobalTill’s offerings and technologies
  • Ability to work with conflicting priorities, take initiative, and maintain focus on customers and partners
