Regional Manager - Calgary

MCG Careers Inc. is looking for a Regional Manager for it Calgary downtown region. As a self-driven leader who inspires, your role is to manage the company's overall regional operations. You have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, are proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools, possess excellent leadership and decision-making skills and can effectively multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

Job Title: Regional Manager for all Programs – Calgary Downtown Region

Purpose / Scope: To impact the community of Calgary by providing career services using MCG Careers business standards and successfully leading multiple teams, while overseeing regional government- funded services, meeting and exceeding standards and outcomes.

Reports To: COO/CEO

Qualifications:

• Five years experience in a management role with the ability to demonstrate through actions professional conduct and standards for employee behaviour and top-quality customer service
• Five-plus years experience in career development, work search strategies and labour market information
• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in a related discipline; CCDP Designation or a Specialized Career Development Certificate

Skills:

• Excellent coaching, negotiating, and community and government relationship-building ability
• Project management/outcome management experience with forecasting and tracking knowledge
• Proven ability to think critically with strong decision-making and conflict-resolution skills
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills with top notch organizational skills
• Strong team management skills including attracting, training, engaging, developing, and retaining qualified staff through performance management
