Job Description


  • Screen and place mid to senior level inspection personnel
  • Request references and check the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the customer.
  • As required, be available to receive Contractor phone calls in the evenings and weekends.
  • Ensure support of the standardized administrative process for recruiting.
  • Understand customer expectations from provided job descriptions and technical job requirements and clearly communicate these expectations and requirements to contractors; ensure that proposed contractors meet the SGS standard and hold the necessary requirements and/or technical background needed to effectively perform the job.
  • Utilize online recruitment tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed and other job boards
  • Arrange interviews, meetings or phone calls with hires for updates on client training or procedure changes
  • Support Technical recruiters with administrative tasks, ad hoc projects, and screening of resumes
  • Strive to improve the quality of candidates that are being sent to the client
  • Prepare CV’s and correspondence to forward to customers in respect of suitable applicants
  • Advertise job vacancies, screen applications
  • Receive and review applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the customers.
  • Maintain database of employees and ensure that all personal files are up to date.
  • Conduct business in accordance with SGS standards for ethics and integrity.
  • Ay prepare job offers for presentation to candidates.
  • Operate and manage through ATS (Applicants Tracking System) for recruitment and hiring.

Experience

  • Sense of urgency
  • Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office application package
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under moderate time pressure to meet customer deadlines.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the recruitment industry preferred
  • Proficiency in online recruitment tools such as LinkedIn and other job boards
  • Proficiency in the use of Applicant Tracking Systems
