Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with an Oil & gas company in Airdrie, Alberta. We are looking to hire an experienced recruiter to join their team on a 4-6 month contract with potential to extend. This role is fully in office, Monday-Friday, 5 days per week with standard business hours. ***We are looking for recruiter with experience working specifically with UKG software***

Your new role

You will be reporting into the HR Manager and supporting full-cycle recruitment for an mix of trades, office, and engineering roles. This includes:

• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications
• Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules
• Interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
• Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements
• Assess applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; verifying references
• Evaluates applicants by reviewing with managers
• Establishes recruiting requirements, plans, objectives

What you'll need to succeed

• 2+ years experience within a recruitment role

• You have previous experience with UKG software (must have)

• Must have great communication and interpersonal skills
