Project Manager, Security Jobs

Currently, we are seeking Project Managers to join our growing Security and Healthcare Technology division based on Vancouver Island.

We would also consider candidates living in Nanaimo, Courtenay, Victoria, the Lower Mainland, BC Interior and Prince George.

The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager and will work closely with the field team and with the assigned office support to achieve project performance, budget and schedule targets.

Project Manager Responsibilities/Duties

• Maintain good relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end users
• Arrange for project manuals to be completed
• Identify potential business opportunities
• Work onsite with the foreman and superintendent as a team to review the project documents, and assess success and challenges, once the project is complete
• Review reports and provide analytics to project team
• Ensure that as-built drawings are completed and sent to the owner
• Manage all areas of the project including, contract management, financials, schedules, labour requirements, materials, deficiencies, etc.
• Estimate changes, complete required paperwork and ensure that the job is billed out Houle is paid

Project Manager Experience And Skills

• Experience working with healthcare technology (Nurse Call, RLTS) an asset
• Good communication skills, and ability to converse with multiple project Stakeholders
• Project estimating experience. Familiarity with Accubid software an asset.
• Experience working within the BC Security Industry and familiarity with local Consultants and Architects an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong technical knowledge of Security Systems including CCTV and Access Control
• 3-5 years project management experience with relevant education/training.
• Good computer skills, proficient in MS Office. Experience using Project Management software (Procore) and AutoCAD an asset
