Solutions Architect (IT Infrastructure, Data Centers, Networking and Security)

The client requires a Solution Architect to provide essential expertise during the deployment of Microsoft 365 (M365). The Solution Architect will work collaboratively with the team to fulfill the outlined tasks and any other related duties required to ensure the successful deployment of M365, as well as other responsibilities as assigned by the organization.

Scope of Services/Deliverables:

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to align M365 deployment with the organization's technology roadmap.
• Engage with IMIT and relevant stakeholders to ensure the success of IMIT project deployment tasks.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to teams, managers, and executives involved in the IMIT deployment project.
• Support the planning and deployment of network services and infrastructure at new sites and review current state.
• In addition, these tasks, the Solution Architect will perform other duties as assigned by the organization to contribute to its technology landscape and objectives.
• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of technical infrastructure and systems.
• Assess the existing IT infrastructure and align it with the requirements of M365 deployment.
• Ensure that the IMIT deployment plan aligns with internal business demands, working with technical team members to help allocating necessary IT resources.
• Develop and recommend disaster recovery, business resumption procedures, and security compliance measures.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of appropriate technologies and solutions for IMIT deployments.
• Collaborate with the team to design and facilitate the migration of data centers from the current to new locations.

Solution Architect Requirements:

Education

• University degree in the field of Computer Science or Management Information Systems or a related discipline or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.

Occupational Certification

• TOGAF Certification
• Senior expert level technical certifications are an asset
• ITIL Master Certification

Experience

• Senior level experience in Information Technology Solution and Enterprise Architecture.
• Experience, developing action plans, and leading technical teams for large Enterprise Technology projects.
• Experience providing technical advice and guidance to work teams, managers and executive.
• Experience working in a Health-related organization is an asset.
• Extensive experience with Cybersecurity, Information Security solutions.
• Experience with Major Applications Software platforms: Microsoft .NET framework, Java Platform
• Experience in assessing customer requirements, architectural policy, procedures, and standards, and implementing technical and business solutions.
• Experience in implementing new application solutions that satisfy business needs.
• Experience evaluating the latest technology architectures and solutions
• Experience managing diverse environments that includes, Data Centre, Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), Cloud Environments (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
• Experience with working in Mid to Large size organizations with high complex information technologies
• Experience with Cloud Providers: Microsoft Azure, AWS
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture review processes
• Experience with MS Server platforms: MS Server 2012R2, 2016, SQL 2012, 2016
• Experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity plans
