Key Responsibilities:

• Initiates and conducts code reviews, creates code standards, conventions and guidelines.
• Reports about area readiness/quality, and raises red flags in crisis situations which are beyond their AOR.
• Addresses area-level risks, provides and implements mitigation plan.
• Collaborates with other teams and collaborators.
• Leads functional and architectural design of assigned areas. Makes sure design decisions on the project meet architectural and design requirements.
• Analyzes scope of alternative solutions and makes decision about area implementation based on their experiences and technical expertise.
• Suggests technical and functional improvements to contribute to the product;
• Obtains tasks from the project lead or Team Lead (TL), prepares functional and design specifications.

Required Skills:

• Experience working with Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL and/or other DBMS platforms
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau, Superset and Looker is good to have.
• Extensive experience working in data engineering, business analytics, ETL orchestration and workflow management tools like Airflow, or Oozie and Distributed data/similar ecosystem such as Spark, Hive, Presto and/or streaming technologies such as Kafka/Flink.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or Java, or Scala
