Purpose of the job:

• You will Investigate, build, and implement the solutions for many technical challenges using innovative technologies, including building/improving the Bigdata processing platform enabling work of software used by hundreds of millions of users.
• We are working on world's largest social media platforms which deals with a few petabytes of data coming to the system daily.Looking for someone to chip in as part of an R&D self-organized team working an aggressive, innovative environment for our client.

Key responsibilities:

• Acquires tasks from the project lead or Team Lead (TL), prepares functional and design specifications, and approves them with all collaborators.
• Analyzes scope of alternative solutions and makes decisions about area implementation based on their experience and technical expertise.
• Provides estimations, agrees on task duration with the manager and chips in to project plan of assigned area.
• Suggests technical and functional improvements to chip in to the product;
• Responsible for resolving crisis situations within their Responsibility.
• Ensures that assigned area/areas are delivered within set deadlines and required quality objectives.
• Leads functional and architectural design of assigned areas. Makes sure design decisions on the project meet architectural and design requirements.
• Initiates and conducts code reviews, builds code standards, conventions, and guidelines.

Required Skills:

• Shown experience with Apache Superset, Apache Airflow, Spark and understanding on how these technologies work internally
• Rigour in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering standard methodologies
• Strong experience in data manipulation with Python
• Result-oriented approach.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects
• Strong OOP skills
