Sr. Data Engineer (Python)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Vancouver, BC --- Hybrid

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and five plus years’ experience in data engineering and data warehouse technologies

• A minimum of 5 + years’ experience in progressive data engineering roles.

• Expert knowledge in SQL, ETL architecture, data architecture and BI architecture.

• 5+ years’ experience in Python for data and analytics.

• Familiarity of R/python and libraries such as Tensorflow, caf, Pytorch etc. is preferred.

• Knowledge of best practices in enterprise-wide database implementation, availability, and security configuration.

• Experience in Azure/AWS cloud.

• Experience with cloud native data warehousing and data lake solutions like Snowflake and Databricks.

• Experience with AI platforms such as MLFlow, preferred experience with building machine/deep learning models with at least one common framework PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit learn etc.
