Responsibilities

• Be a servant-leader to your Agile team.
• Build a trusting, collaborative and safe environment where the team can experiment and learn.
• Remove impediments and blockers that are obstacles to the teams’ progress.
• Champion continuous improvement.
• Capture and use Agile metrics and retrospective actions with an eye on assessing Agile maturity and process and practice improvement.
• Lead the team to self-organization, cross-functionality and a mature Agile adoption.
• Build and manage capacity reporting.
• Guide the team in adopting the fundamentals of iterative and incremental delivery.
• Ensure that Agile principles, methodologies and concepts are consistently adhered to and guide the team through Agile activities as requested or needed.
• Promote and grow a sense of team purpose beyond the ordinary.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• University Degree or equivalent experience (digital technology and/or marketing automation experience).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship skills.
• Previous Project Management roles (using Agile and Traditional methods).
• Experience with Agile engineering practices such as Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, Pair Programming.
• Familiarity with the Financial Service industry (an asset).
• Experience executing Agile projects in large, complex environments.
• Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence) (an asset).
• Knowledge of numerous supporting Agile techniques (e.g. User Stories, Burndown charts, Retrospectives formats).
• Agile/Scrum master certifications.
• Deep knowledge and experience using proven Agile and lean principles, practices and methodologies including Scrum, Kanban and iterative delivery.
• 2 - 5 years leading an Agile team in a complex and virtual environment.
