Payroll Specialist - Hybrid - Downtown Toronto

Are you a Payroll Specialist in the Greater Toronto Area with Ceridian Dayforce experience? Are you available for work immediately and open to a long term contract role in a professional services environment? If so, we want to speak with you!
Randstad Finance & Accounting is working with a reputable Financial Services organization, located steps from the nearest TTC subway, looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team for the next 12-15 months. This is a hybrid role offering 1-2 days of remote work, benefits from day one and generous vacation time.
Ideal candidates will be PCP certified with 5+ years of full cycle Payroll experience, advanced proficiency with Ceridian Dayforce and be comfortable working in a highly professional environment.

Responsibilities
Provide payroll services through the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees
Review payroll transactions entered into the system including new hires, terminations, and preparation of ROEs
Ensure scheduling system has accurately captured hourly employee's times
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and reporting requirements
Prepare T4s, T4As and pension adjustments for year-end balancing
Complete statistical and employee earnings information
Administer and balance remittances to various agencies and vendors
Administer filing of documents
Qualifications
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
5+ years' experience with full cycle Payroll
PCP Designation
Proficiency with Ceridian Dayforce
Multi-province payroll including Ontario and Quebec
Bilingual in French and English is an asset
