CapIntel is expanding rapidly, having achieved over 750% growth in 2021 followed by a $14M Series A and significant growth in 2022. We’re continuing to build our team to support our transformative impact on the wealth industry.


About The Role


The Partnerships and Business Development Lead is a brand-new role for us. You will be setting the strategy and executing on it to drive partnership strategies with leading Financial Services firms and vendors. You’ll leverage your industry knowledge and relationships to elevate CapIntel’s awareness within the US Wealth Management community and develop partnership strategies that deliver win-win solutions and revenue growth for all parties.


This role will require travel throughout Canada and the US for on-site meetings (30%).


What You'll Do


  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships within the financial services space
  • Actively manage partnerships to drive new pipeline and customer acquisition
  • Partner with sales and marketing to drive and diversify CapIntel’s revenue
  • Create, evaluate and pursue new partnership opportunities with a specific focus on Wealth Management in the United States
  • Build high trust relationships across an organization, including Senior Leadership and C-Suite 


Qualifications


  • Resourceful: highly driven with the ability to work independently and with high autonomy; comfort in building processes as you go
  • Business development: proven ability to evaluate industry trends and develop recommended strategies for new strategic partnerships and business opportunities
  • Relationship management: experience owning multiple levels of relationships internally and externally
  • Industry experience: deep understanding of the wealth and asset management industry
  • Teamwork and collaboration: aligning internal processes and engaging with cross functional teams.

Remote first work: We’re a Canadian based, remote-first environment, with in-office collaboration zones and individual workspaces in Gatineau, QC or Halifax, NS and hubs of virtual employees in Southwestern Ontario). Our core business hours are 9:30am – 3:30pm EST. Successful candidates will be expected to adopt those core hours as part of their regular schedule, regardless of physical location.
