Part Time Accounts Administrator

Part-time accounts administrator required for our Sudbury-based client. As Part Time accounts administrator you will be solely responsible for dealing with sales and purchase orders and ensuring all goods for orders are dealt with on time with the warehouse. It is essential for this position that you have accounts administration experience which has ideally been gained within an order processing role, be IT literate and able to work on your own initiative with little supervision.

The Role

• Follow-up of outstanding payments
• Generating stock report (Using SAGE platform) and re-ordering required stock
• Co-Ordination with warehouse to ensure timely dispatches of orders to customers
• Using Sage platform to raise packing and picking list
• Sending statements to customers of pending payments
• Quarterly VAT run & payments to HRMRC
• Raising invoices
• Working 3 days per week any days between Tuesday to Friday
• Dealing with sales and purchase orders
• Reconciliation of bank statement with Sage
• Booking payment receipts from customers and payments to third parties in Sage

The Person

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to tight deadlines
• Strong IT knowledge
• Must have license and access to a vehicle due to companies’ location
• Experience of working with Sage or any CRM software will be preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in working without supervision.
• Strong administration experience ideally gained from an order processing role
• Strong IT skills
