Career Services of Brockville requires an Office Administrator to support both our employment and business teams. We are a not-for-profit charitable organization that assists approximately 120 people with barriers in obtaining employment with approximately 100 employees in the business. Mission Statement Career Services is both a business and service dedicated to expanding employment opportunities for individuals facing barriers to employment. We support individuals, employers, and community partners to help people realize their work and life goals.
Reporting to the Manager of Finance and Human Resources, you will be the ambassador for our employment and business teams and will work collaboratively towards our agency mission and achieve long-term goals from the strategic plan.

Key Areas of Responsibility & Duties:
● Manage the day-to-day, front-of-house operations for our employment support and business services.
● Integral part of the administration team.
● Ensure that the agency's mission, vision, and principles are communicated and evident in all activities.
● When possible, assist in developing independence for the people we support.
● Demonstrate and participate in the growth mindset with continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills Requirements:
● Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
● 2-year College Diploma in accounting, bookkeeping, or administration, or university degree an asset.
● Proficiency with various computer software: Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting Programs (i.e., SAGE)
● Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are required for this comprehensive position.
● Self-starter/ability to take the initiative and manage own work plan in a fast-paced environment.
● Ability to not only adapt but thrive in a highly active and changing work environment.
● Knowledge of the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services, and relevant Government Legislation as asset
● Social media skills are an asset.
● Previous experience executing administrative support for multi-faceted teams.
● COVID-19 primary vaccinations and Vulnerable Criminal Reference Checks are required.
