- Work directly with the Country Manager providing word processing and presentation support
- Performs other administrative, office duties or projects as assigned including managing the office switch board as required. Be the first point of contact for internal employees and visitors inclusive of office phone management, Lloyd’s Canada inbox and directing queries to relevant parties.
- Assisting in arranging internal and external events including training programmes
- Manage the Country Manager’s day to day schedule, travel and expense processing
- Manage a smooth and efficient running of the office and reception area, including managing local vendors for office supplies
- Support special projects and work efforts accretive to the Lloyd’s franchise in Canada
- Enter and update all Country Manager’s market and stakeholder interactions in Dynamics
- Support local Regulatory Affairs and Compliance team with administrative tasks and functions
- Proactive, excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work under pressure
- Track Record of delivering customer focused service internal and external stakeholders
- Adaptable to changing workloads
- Desire to learn new insurance related subject matter
- Some experience in supporting event coordination and general marketing efforts
- Interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Experience of providing efficient administrative support in an office environment
