Servocraft Limited is a 40-year-old, well-established, and reputable Mechanical and Electrical Construction and Engineering firm serving the industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) sector of the construction industry in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding areas.

Looking for a Receptionist / Office Assistant who is highly organized and can contribute to the smooth operations of our company. MUST have local experience in the GTA construction industry.

Responsibilities

• General reception duties include filing, typing, copying, scanning, answering telephones, scheduling meetings and travel arrangements.
• Preparing site visit and minutes of reports on internal and external meetings.
• Multitask and coordinate with various team members.
• Follow up on the progress and completion of tasks delegated to junior staff members by management.
• Provide administrative support to senior administration staff dealing with operations, finance, insurance, legal and claim documentation, human resource requirements along with general office management objectives.
• Maintaining and updating of company policy files and monitoring the application of such policies efficiently.
• Typing and editing correspondence for President and General Manager.

Desired Skills And Experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Basic accounting knowledge is an asset.
• Proactive attitude in problem-solving day-to-day issues that arise.
• Highly organized in task prioritization and detailed management of documentation.
• Must have vehicle to travel between two office sites.
• Overall exceptional command of the English language is a must, especially writing skills and reporting.
• Minimum 2 years of business education from a Canadian-based college or University in a relevant program.
• Minimum 60 wpm typing speed with accuracy.

Remuneration

• $22 to $24/hour plus benefits, based on experience.
