Description


The work involves the development of office automation applications as well as the performance of various tasks related to the storage, installation and maintenance of systems, physical components and software.


Key Responsibilities


  • Set up security mechanisms for equipment and computerized data and ensure follow-up.
  • Undertake any other related duties.
  • Using application development tools, prepare applications (local systems) or modifications to applications that are assigned to him, and assume the adjustments.
  • Ensure optimal management of peripherals, telecommunication equipment and specialized equipment related to the computer.
  • Review specifications and, if necessary, suggest any required modifications for the implementation of office applications.
  • Develop office automation applications according to the needs of users and facilitate the operation and understanding of said applications.
  • Install any equipment or software required for the use of a computer.
  • Update the applications documentation and any related indexes and reference manuals.
  • Verify the applications through test procedures, determine the source of breakdowns and make the required corrections.
  • Use various office automation equipment, as may be required, to perform certain tasks related to the job, using appropriate programming.
  • Provide technical support to users regarding the use and operation of the software, existing applications and equipment related thereto.
  • Ensure optimal use of computer components, namely the computer internal parts, operating software and utility programs.


Skills Knowledge And Expertise


Education: Specialized college education (CEGEP) diploma, in relevant sector and profile.


Experience: One (1) year of similar work experience.


Required: Bilingual.


Advanced knowledge of MSDOS.


Good knowledge of several micro processing software.


Knowledge of software and its application in a network environment.


Knowledge of equipment installation (computers and devices)


Facility to adapt to new computer tools.


Initiative.
