We are looking for an IT Governance Operations Lead to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

As the IT Governance Operations Lead you are responsible for reviewing and improving IT processes and controls, compliance, and IT security policies. The role will collaborate with various constituents across business functions and information technology to develop and sustain a compliant IT controls environment with a design that meets the business needs. The position will be responsible for IT governance and compliance and lead related remediation efforts across the enterprise. Makes recommendations and assists in the implementation of changes to strengthen our internal controls environment. Oversees policy and standard development and adoption, ensuring that policies are up to date, scalable, aligned with business needs, and understood across the organization.


A Day in the Life


  • Participate in IT audit/review meetings, reporting on remediation status and control-related topics.
  • Creates and maintains documentation of security-related policies, standards, and processes.
  • Responsible for defining and establishing operational processes for all identity and lifecycle management aspects.
  • Own, oversee and report on Disaster Recovery (DR) test results
  • Collaborates with an internal and external audit to provide support for requests, follow up on audit issues and conduct root cause and impact analysis.
  • Track metrics using Service Now GRC
  • Develop, monitor, and report on a set of metrics (balanced scorecard) to track the compliance effort’s effectiveness and those deficiencies are not repeated.
  • Work with business and technology leads to influence and balance controls with functional requirements.
  • Drive compliance initiatives and continuous process improvements
  • Develop education materials and deliver training to increase the understanding across the organization of effective IT processes, controls, and compliance.
  • Closely interact with the risk and project management teams to proactively ensure controls and compliance are addressed as part of project plans.
  • Manage and implement remediation plans, ensuring observations from Internal Audit, External Audit and/or regulators are assessed and actioned quickly.
  • Consults and coordinates with application teams and business units to design and validate operational processes.
  • Maintains operational processes so that changes are incorporated, and issues are properly addressed and continuously improved.


Requirements


  • Ability to identify and evaluate business, IT and audit risks – you understand financial reporting, compliance, audit risks and their IT components.
  • Experience partnering with an auditing function, helping to assess and/or implement business systems and/or emerging technologies, and streamlining IT audit processes.
  • Knowledge and experience with technology that supports governance, risk controls (GRC) initiatives and processes are desirable.
  • Highly motivated, committed self-starter who can prioritize work, multi-task, and cope with changing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; also Risk Management credentials such as Certified Risk Manager (RIMS) or ISO 31000, preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Relevant audit or accounting designation(s) (e.g. CISA, CPA, CIA) viewed as an asset, but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently synthesize data to form options and recommendations; present logic, reasoning, and analysis to others
  • Minimum 3 years experience in IT compliance/audit or relevant industry or consulting experience is desirable, especially in systems auditing, IT project ownership, business system controls, service organization controls reporting or cyber security.
