The Data Governance Consultant role involves playing a pivotal part in the design, implementation, and maintenance of effective data governance frameworks within the organization. The Consultant will be responsible for ensuring that all data assets are managed, protected, and utilized in a compliant, secure, and efficient manner.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identify and designate data owners for each critical data asset. Work with them to ensure data-related responsibilities are understood and carried out effectively.
• Lead the implementation of the data governance framework, including data cataloging, data classification, data ownership, data lineage, data quality.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, data owners, IT teams to define the data governance strategy and objectives.
• Manage the data catalog, establish collaborative workflows, and integrate Collibra with other data management systems such as ADLS, Databricks etc.
• Identify the organization's data governance needs and tailor a comprehensive data governance framework
