Make an impact with our Enterprise Risk Services team as a Manager. This diverse team of professionals utilizes leading-edge industry knowledge to assist clients in mitigating risk. As a trusted advisor, you’ll identify, evaluate and manage risk exposure while protecting clients’ reputation and assets.

Responsibilities

• Determine engagement scope, programs, criteria and procedures
• Provide supervision and support to junior team members during the delivery of engagements
• Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
• Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needs
• Manage engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)
• Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews
• Oversee walkthroughs and control testing; document, assess, recommend and implement improvements to processes and control frameworks
• Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients and ensure client needs are met and that relationships grow and develop
• Support sales processes, including but not limited to proposal writing, attending and actively participating in sales meetings, supporting the development of work plan effort estimates and quotes, etc.
• Maintain high quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the client’s business
• Oversee delivery of a portfolio of enterprise risk and management consulting engagements that may include but is not limited to internal audits, IT/systems audits, internal control assessments, Service Organizational Control (SOC) assessments, independent reviews of transformation projects, risk analytics, and development of risk management frameworks and strategies across a range of industries
• Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals and other high-quality deliverables

Skills And Experience

• Experience leading projects start to finish while managing the work of one (or many) team members is considered an asset
• Bilingual in English and French is a strong asset
• Completion of a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, Certified Internal Audit (CIA) designation, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation, or a Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP)
• Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Completion of a University Degree or equivalent
• Holding a Government of Canada security clearance (Secret Level) is a strong asset
• Completion of other relevant designations in risk management, technology risk, and/or information security is considered an asset
