Enterprise Back Office Risk Analyst Jobs

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Risk Management or Middle/Back Office service;

Certifications in operational risk and/or business continuity management

Experience within a Management Consulting firm

Support the preparation of the Senior Leadership Team, Risk Management Committee, and Board reporting;

Participate in various internal governance committee meetings and meetings with Senior Management and Regulators to provide updates on risk profile;

Lead the execution of the Incident Management Program, ensuring that risk events are adequately identified, analyzed, and reported to the regulators;

Designing and implementing various risk management frameworks (e.g. enterprise risk, operational risk, project risk, reputational risk, etc.)

Articulating and designing risk governance structures for the Risk Function, Management Committees and Board Committees

Conducting ‘risk deep dives’ for new and emerging areas of concern for the Board and Management

Assisting organizations in out-sourced ERM function efforts (e.g. collection and reporting of key risk information to the Board and Management)

Implementing / augmenting ERM systems and GRC tools based on business requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Provide project risk oversight and advisory on strategic initiatives from an enterprise risk perspective, and proactively recommend opportunities for risk management/mitigation.

Champion the enhancement of third party risk management activities at all companies, including all subsidiaries

Industry accreditation in Risk Management or related field (CSC, CIP, FCIP, CRM, CRMP) would be an asset

Experience and knowledge in managing a risk program or framework

Experience with insurance industry regulatory requirements (OSFI, FSRA, Alberta Treasury Board)

Strong knowledge and experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance and Controls frameworks

Apply project management skills to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Extensive knowledge of Wealth Management Back Office and Business Management applications.

Ability to manage system-level requirements, perform data mapping, and review technical design documents.

Document client requests and specifications using established BA methodologies such as CRD, Use Cases, Requirements traceability, and process flows.

Collaborate with Brokerage clients and Product Strategists to gather requirements and ensure their effective translation into functional requirements.

Analytical skills and ability to effectively analyze and interpret complex data.

5+ years of experience in progressively senior corporate risk management roles or Big 4 firms

Familiarity with ESG risk management and reporting regulations, standards and guidelines

Must have experience working in a global, multi-functional context - ability to balance global and local requirements

Maintain a strong risk culture throughout the organization by supporting transparency and knowledge-sharing of risk-related information

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field

Knowledge of environmental and social risks and their impact

5+ years of experience in progressively senior corporate risk management roles or Big 4 firms

Familiarity with ESG risk management and reporting regulations, standards and guidelines

Must have experience working in a global, multi-functional context - ability to balance global and local requirements

Maintain a strong risk culture throughout the organization by supporting transparency and knowledge-sharing of risk-related information

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field

Knowledge of environmental and social risks and their impact

• Project Management experience would be an asset

• 8+ years of experience in software industry; strong knowledge of database design, and data warehouse technologies

• Ability to work with managers and other business stakeholders in Marketing Intelligence, Sales and Finance teams

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft

• Hands on experience in MuleSoft API Development, MuleSoft cloud hub and MuleSoft Flow development

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server Database Administration, and relational database concepts

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong ability to identify errors and discrepancies.

Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills

Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals and other high-quality deliverables

Completion of other relevant designations in risk management, technology risk, and/or information security is considered an asset

Manage engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)

5+ years of relevant work experience

Experience leading projects start to finish while managing the work of one (or many) team members is considered an asset
