About You:
This is a full-time position with a 6 hour work day and fully remote. Our office is in the StartWell location at King West (786 King St W, Toronto, ON M5V 1N6) as optional in case you need a break.
We're looking for a stellar Account and Project Manager to help manage our internal / external delivery of marketing and marketing support projects. This is a client facing position with account management & project management responsibilities. We are looking for a candidate who can not only manage our internal team, but can communicate project status with our clients to collect feedback & manage expectations.
We’re looking for a candidate who has work experience in agile and/or scrum environments. While our methodology in scrum is adapted, we are looking for someone who can continue to build our processes with their fellow Account and Project Managers. You would be responsible for working with a strategist to build out workbacks, milestones and tasks for each project, manage in-flight execution, and report project status.
It would be a bonus to have client management experience and some knowledge of digital marketing. Experience with Teamwork, Trello, JIRA, or other project management systems would be a plus as well.
Two key areas / skills that are imperative for the role are:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong organizational skills
Responsibilities include:
- Addressing any blockers that they team may encounter
- Scrum / Servant leadership
- Team management / Working within a team environment
- Reporting on project status
- Budget management
- Day-to-day project management
- Day-to-day client management
- Setting up internal processes and making sure they are followed through
- Schedule / Leading Meetings / Document Meeting Minutes
- Backlog grooming / managing priorities
Requirements include:
- Experience managing accounts w/ minimal supervision.
- Experience or knowledge of working in an agile or scrum environment
- Excellent communication skills.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in the industry.
