ABOUT INDIGENOUS CLEAN ENERGY
The Indigenous Clean Energy (ICE) Social Enterprise is a pan-Canadian not-for-profit platform which advances Indigenous inclusion in Canada’s energy futures economy through Indigenous leadership and broad-based collaboration with energy companies, utilities, governments, development firms, cleantech innovators, academic sector, and capital markets.

JOB SUMMARY
ICE is currently hiring a Bringing It Home Project Accelerator Assistant on a full-time, one-year term with a possibility of extension. This position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. Travel may be needed on an occasional basis for this role.
This position is being funded by CMHC’s Housing Internship for Indigenous Youth. Therefore, applicants must be an Indigenous youth between the ages of 18 and 30.
ICE is seeking a new team member to join our growing Bringing It Home Project Accelerator program, which focuses on Indigenous energy efficiency projects. The Program Assistant will support a range of activities, including but not limited to content development, communications, outreach, and logistics. They may also support special projects such as energy efficiency videos and other engagement tools. This person will be a critical part of the team with an eye to making sure all the small details get taken care of, ensuring all participants have the best experience possible in the program.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining an organized database of knowledge, tools, and resources
- Supporting the development of program curriculum and resources such as templates, tools, guides, etc
- Assisting with various supportive tasks as needed
- Supporting the delivery of the virtual and in-person training sessions
- Researching and getting quotes for services, including accommodations, transportation, and supplies for training sessions
- Maintaining, organizing, and updating existing resources and resource library
- Logistics planning and coordination of participant travel
- Assisting with content and curriculum material development
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in Indigenous housing, considered an asset
- Bilingualism will be considered an asset
- Able to meet deadlines and prioritize workload
- Experience turning information into useful tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of energy efficiency considered an asset
- Capable of using Microsoft Office software as well as other web-based tools like Asana
