POSITION TITLE: IT PROJECT MANAGER


LOCATION: REMOTE

OVERVIEW:


Our client is currently seeking talented and experienced IT Project Manager - ERP (Contract) for projects starting mid-Aug 2023. Ideally you will have 8+ years PM experience planning / monitoring / executing IT projects, within a defined scope, timeline, and budget; collaborating with 3rd party vendors; and working closely with IT operation teams. Previous experience with ERP migration projects, (i.e., Microsoft Dynamics GP to Dynamics 365) would be a strong asset. Location: remote (PM must reside in Canada for the duration of the project). Term: One (1) year. Potential for One (1) year extension.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Experience managing change requests and communication of changes to all relevant parties.
  • Strong understanding of ERP system architecture, modules, and components, particularly Microsoft Dynamics GP and Dynamics 365.
  • Previous experience with ERP migration projects, (i.e., from Microsoft Dynamics GP to Dynamics 365) would be a strong asset.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (English) is required.
  • Experience conducting regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Experience managing project budgets, expenses, and resource utilization to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
  • 8+ years PM experience planning / monitoring / executing IT projects, within a defined scope, timeline, and budget; collaborating with 3rd party vendors; and working closely with IT operation teams.
  • Education: active industry certifications in project management would be an asset.
  • Experience in developing and managing project documents, i.e., status reports, budgets, project plans, proposals, and close-out documents including transition to productions.
  • Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and 3rd party vendors to address any project related issues/challenges, to ensure successful project completion.
