Role And Responsibilities

Job description summary

As a Senior Manufacturing Project Manager, you will need to use your project management skills to coordinate, plan and execute industrial projects while ensuring that health & safety rules are respected and risks are eliminated.

• Provide financial business case and technical justification for the definition and operation of the project.
• Responsible for the investment and replacement of obsolete machinery/equipment within manufacturing.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement based on problem-solving techniques as well as Kaizen, "Six Sigma", "Lean", "Design Thinking" and Agile concepts.
• Implement improvement projects

• Work with resource managers
• Coach and mentor six sigma projects in line with the objectives of the department, business units and the company.
• Work on strategic projects under the governance of the VP of Hardware Engineering and Global Manufacturing.
• Define and control the progress, milestones and checkpoints of the project and monitor.
• Assume budget responsibility for a multi-million project portfolio.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, both inside and outside of the service.
• Responsible for the overall execution of your projects, from initiation to delivery.
• Responsible for the implementation / expansion of new manual, semi-automated and automated production lines.
• Responsible for the schedule for strategic projects spanning several years.

Qualifications And Skills

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Leadership, good team spirit and change management skills.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial project management. ▪ PMP, PMI-ACP certification
• BS degree in engineering or related field.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
• Strong experience in the execution of manufacturing projects
• At ease in a distributed work environment, remotely and sometimes in the office if necessary for the position.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification an asset
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification
