Senior Manufacturing Project Manager

Role And Responsibilities

As a Senior Manufacturing Project Manager, you will need to use your project management skills to coordinate, plan and execute industrial projects while ensuring that health & safety rules are respected and risks are eliminated.

▪ Work on strategic projects under the governance of the VP of Hardware Engineering and Global Manufacturing.

▪ Responsible for the implementation / expansion of new manual, semi-automated and automated production lines.

▪ Responsible for the investment and replacement of obsolete machinery/equipment within manufacturing.

▪ Provide financial business case and technical justification for the definition and operation of the project.

▪ Promote a culture of continuous improvement based on problem-solving techniques as well as Kaizen, "Six Sigma", "Lean", "Design Thinking" and Agile concepts.

▪ Coach and mentor six sigma projects in line with the objectives of the department, business units and the company.

▪ Define and control the progress, milestones and checkpoints of the project and monitor.

▪ Responsible for the overall execution of your projects, from initiation to delivery.

▪ Assume budget responsibility for a multi-million project portfolio.

▪ Responsible for the schedule for strategic projects spanning several years.

▪ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, both inside and outside of the service.

▪ Work with resource managers

Qualifications and skills:

▪ BS degree in engineering or related field.

▪ Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial project management.

▪ PMP, PMI-ACP certification.

▪ Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

▪ Six Sigma Black Belt certification an asset.

▪ Strong experience in the execution of manufacturing projects.

▪ Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

▪ Leadership, good team spirit and change management skills.

▪ At ease in a distributed work environment, remotely and sometimes in the office if necessary for the position.

▪ Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
