Project Coordinator
The Project Coordinator role provides project management, operational, and administrative support to the Solutions Delivery Team and project managers. The role will focus on specific deliverables, parts of projects, and/or sub-projects with scheduling, organizing, data gathering, progress updating, recordkeeping, and reporting. The Project Coordinator will make project and portfolio reports presentation-ready to ease the burden on the project managers to validate and harmonize communications.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Create and sustain a trusting relationship with key stakeholders that translate into coordinating schedules, issues, budget, and reporting on status of existing projects
• Scheduling future project work and resource-leveling work plans
• Scheduling meetings and attendance at various key meetings, along with administrative support for recordkeeping and follow-up with both attendees and non-attendees.
• Capturing meeting decisions, minutes, and action items
• Assist project manager in managing integrated project plans, ensuring the project runs smoothly, managing RAID logs, helping prepare presentations, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Validation and reconciliation of invoices, financials, and budgets
• Ensuring the timely completion of work and updating of data by project team members
• Validating project reporting.
• Coordinating various events in terms of facility, invitation, equipment, catering, and other logistics.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Strong knowledge of MSOffice, Excel and various project and portfolio management platform(s) required.
• Extensive experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of project and portfolio management techniques. Experience in both agile and waterfall environments highly desired. Familiarity with the functioning of a PMO and steering committee.
EXPERIENCE
• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or project management, with three years’ equivalent work experience.
• Certifications in technology-related and project management disciplines
