Siemens is seeking a talented and dynamic Project Coordinator to join our Project Management Office. It is critical that the person in this role be a self-starter, a creative problem solver, strategic and be willing to go above and beyond for customer satisfaction.


The Project Coordinator will report to the Senior Project Manager and will be responsible for leading smaller projects within automation, motion and drives and in the process industry with engineering, process automation and instrumentation.


This role will execute projects up to $1M for Customers in industry segments such as Battery, Oil & Gas, Mining, Food and Beverage and Logistics.

What will you do?


  • Ensuring that all budgetary objectives are met, managing changes are required.
  • Working with customers and internal team to detail specific project deliverables
  • Identify, prevent, and manages risks.
  • Work with vendors to track shipments.
  • Develop effective relationships with multiple teams.
  • Act as the main point of customer contact for the project delivery and issues mitigation
  • Actively participate in building a supportive team environment that fosters positivity and engagement.
  • Creating a timeline of goals to be met
  • Tracking project performance to ensure schedules are maintained and projects proceed in accordance with contract documents and customer expectations.
  • Assisting the Project Manager with administrative functions and processes


What will you need to succeed?


  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
  • Must have a high degree of motivation and a strong customer focus.
  • 2-5 years of industrial experience as a project coodinator
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate multiple projects, involving complex work-scopes, numerous stakeholders, in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent communications skills, understanding of task time and people management
  • Proven ability to solve problems and drive sustainable environment.
  • Ability to read and understand engineered drawings.
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Project), CAD, etc.
  • Electrical Engineering degree
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge in using SAP or any other ERP system is an asset.
