Job Description

Opportunity Details

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Project Coordinator for an 8-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.


Work Location

The successful candidate will be required to work on-site 2 days per week at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON.


Security Requirement

Must be eligible for a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability Clearance.


Equipment Required

You will be expected to have your own laptop to perform the work. A laptop will not be provided.


Key Tasks

  • Create and deliver deployment related presentations/reports to key contacts
  • Be the point of contact for all deployment scheduling and logistics related tasks and requirements
  • Support continuous process improvement
  • Work with the key contacts to collect, organize and report on key metrics
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from a variety of sources to identify issues and/or risks; share and implement recommendations to mitigate or correct them, as they relate to deployment and scheduling activities
  • Work with the printer vendor Project Manager and key contacts and/or Field Ops Team Lead, on deployment scheduling, task coordination, tracking, reporting, and site deployment completion/sign off
  • Maintain the SharePoint project collaboration site, team calendar, deliverables log, issue log, risk log, action log, document libraries, etc.
  • Record and issue meeting minutes, action items and decisions
  • Assist the key contact in other initiative related activities as required


Key Qualifications

  • Have 3+ years experience providing project coordination or IT related deployment support, including
  • Experience in a printer deployment / replacement program would be considered a strong asset
  • Experience coordinating deployment activities and managing a multi-site IT deployment schedule


Qualifications

  • Have strong risk, and schedule management skills
  • Have strong ability to prioritize tasks, especially in situations with competing requirements
  • Have a good understanding of project management principles and best practices
  • Have proven ability working with internal and external partners, as well as vendors, in a customer service-oriented manner

  • Have excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Have excellent, clear, and concise communication skills, and proficient writing skills for the preparation of reports and presentations
