Who Are You:
You have experience supporting or coordinating the execution of multi-site projects or programs, and knowledge or experience of research gained through education or previous work experience. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with multi-disciplinary, multi-site teams via a remote work model to coordinate administrative tasks and meet project milestones.
General Duties:
•Coordinating the activities of research assistants
•Supporting the preparation and submission of documents such as recruitment materials, community ethics application packages, etc.
•Coordinating communication and outreach for recruiting participants
•Screening and enrolling eligible participants in study per the study protocol
•Coordinating and scheduling meetings, interviews, and/or focus groups
•Maintaining integrity of data collection protocols and managing data collection systems
•Creating and maintaining records of information and processes for conducting the project
•Reviewing and processing project expenses, such as participant compensation
•Maintaining consistent documentation of project expenses and assisting with tracking project budget
•Coordinate with internal and external networks to support dissemination of recruitment, evaluation, and knowledge mobilization materials
•Other duties as assigned by the Manager, Research & Evaluation
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline, such as social sciences, disability studies, policy studies, business, health sciences, or other related field, with coursework in research methods; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
•Knowledge or experience of research operations and application of research protocols
•Excellent organizational and time management skills and a keen attention to detail
•Demonstrated ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with a team and multiple stakeholders
•Outstanding communication skills and the ability to clearly explain actionable insights and recommendations to staff through both written and spoken means of communication
•Demonstrated knowledge and interest in intersectionality and principles of accessibility, inclusion, and human rights advocacy (i.e., legislation, attitudinal, physical, and systemic barriers faced by persons with disabilities)
•Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
•Professionalism, enthusiasm, and a keen sense of confidentiality and tact
•Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote work model
•Access to high-speed internet at home
•A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is required
