Azure Project Coordinator Jobs

Overview

Azure Project Coordinator plays a key role in facilitating and administering ITIL-based implementations while coordinating the seamless transition of new customers onto the Enavate Virtual Private Cloud and Microsoft Azure platforms.

The person in this role will be responsible for overseeing the planning, kickoff, delivery, and transition to steady-state operations for new customers or the expansion of services for existing customers.

Their primary focus will be to ensure the successful completion of cloud-based projects, meeting deadlines, staying within budget, and upholding high-quality standards.

Work hours: 8AM-4PM EST

Location: Canada (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Assists in contract amendment process if/when necessary.
• Ensures contractual service support requirements are understood and set up for delivery in a steady state.
• Quickly identifies risks to meeting project timelines and works to overcome project obstacles.
• Ensures effective communication and coordination of problem-solving efforts between support teams, account teams, field service personnel, and customers.
• Holds project management responsibility for new cloud service customers through Go Live date.

Customer Service

• Provides point of contact for process-related questions or issues and facilitates process-related meetings.
• Collaborates with other team members to ensure consistency of delivery, adherence to standard practices, and continuous improvement.

Technical Knowledge and Support

• Can discuss operational and service level reports and explain service level support available to internal or external customers.
• Administer and manage the configuration of process-related tools, reporting tools, and associated technologies.
• Provide training and mentoring for functional teams to ensure that process guidelines are understood and followed.

Qualifications

• Foundational experience with ITIL processes.
• Excellent customer relationship skills, including oral and written communication.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing complex technology projects with demonstrated experience managing IT projects and timelines.
• Ability to utilize technical resources effectively to develop solutions or proactively prepare for projects and implementations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient with project management methodologies and best practices.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Bonus points for

• Experience with ServiceNow.
• ITIL Certification.
• Foundational understanding of IT concepts, including firewalls, DNS, Active Directory and Windows Server environments will be a significant advantage.
• PMP certification.
