Mission  
We are seeking a Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Engineer to join our growing Transportation team in our Ontario GTA offices.
This Work May Include Applications In
You will have the oppourtunity to be involved in many aspects of ITS projects including strategic planning, preliminary/detailed design, specifications development and policy development to help improve safety and mobility.

• Operations centres,
• Data management
• Roadside technologies (detection, cameras, signage, etc.),
• Smart cities/lighting,
• Transportation electrification,
• Connected vehicles,
• Smart mobility and transit, and
• Power and communications systems (wireless, fibre optics, etc.)

Our hybrid work model can accommodate flexible work hours and the position can be based out of any of our 6 Ontario offices: Toronto-Mississauga, Burlington, Bowmanville, Kitchener, Ottawa or London.
Primary Responsibilities

• Generate detailed technical memos, reports and presentations
• Written and verbal communications with clients and contractors
• Conduct field work to support design, inspection, and planning activities
• Develop detailed design including drawings and specifications
• Develop engineering cost estimates
• Be open to learning about new technologies, processes and practices in an evolving field

Profile

• Proficiency with AutoCAD/MicroStation is an asset
• Construction administration and/or field inspections of ITS systems is an asset.
• Valid ‘’G’’ class driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Licensed member of the Professional Engineers in Ontario (P.Eng.) or eligible
• Proficiency with Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
• Knowledge of the ITS Industry including products and suppliers is an asset
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electrical/transportation background is an asset
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ITS and/or Transportation Technology or similar fields
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills in English
