Senior Qliksense Analytics Developer - Hybrid

We are looking for a strong QlikSense / Tableau Analytics developer. The resource should work with the business to understand all dashboard requirements and work on implementation.

The QlikSense Analytics Developer is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs \

in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets,
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint

Qualifications:

• Must be efficient in front-end development (HTML, JS & CSS) and know visualization best practices is a must.
• Experienced in application designing, architecting, development and deployment using Qlik Sense.
• Able to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical, and business requirements into executable art
• Hands on experience in Qlik Sense development, dashboarding and data modeling and reporting (ad hoc report generation) techniques.
• Also helps in understanding and serving to the client’s requirements.
• Must be good at Data transformation, the creation of QVD files and set analysis.
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written) to deliver the technical insights and interpret the data reports to the clients.
• 7+ years total in DW/BI and QlikSense preferred.
• Leadership qualities and thoughtful implementation of Qlik Sense best practices to deliver effective Qlik Sense solutions to the users.
• Strong database designing and SQL skills. Experienced in RDMS such as Netezza, Oracle etc.
• Good to have post Trade Processing Experience, Familiarity with Transactional costs of various securities, Trade Capture and Exception Handling.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/ Engineering
