Advanced statistics, descriptive and predictive modeling experience utilizing statistical software packages such as R, SPSS, STATA, etc.

Skilled in generating decision trees, cluster analysis, text analytics, structural equation modeling and data visualization.

Expert knowledge of Bl concepts and data mining techniques e.g. Associations Discovery, Sequential Pattern Discovery, Classification, Clustering and Forecasting.

3+ years of experience specifically in retail data management and analytics

Demonstrated retail experience working with stores & online datasets

Establish the company as the leader in leveraging and executing on a customer first data-driven strategy

Establish analytical standards and best practices to be leveraged across the company’s ecosystem

Execute on the roadmap and deliver reporting & impactful insights to core partners across Retail Operations and Services (online and stores)

Determine business needs and the right KPIs for new projects/enhancements and deliver a crisp narrative on its outcome post-launch

* Strong economic and operational forecasting knowledge and experience.

* 3+ years experience in Data Analytics or as a Data Scientist.

* Strong data engineering, machine learning, computer programming, and data warehousing skills.

* In-depth knowledge of statistical techniques and high-performance computing.

A minimum of three years of directly related experience in business intelligence, statistical analysis, strategic analysis, and/or advanced analytics.

What You Need To Know

Strong project management and collaboration skills with a demonstrated history of taking ownership and driving results.

Experience performing analysis in the payments industry is a plus.

Hands on experience in Qlik Sense development, dashboarding and data modeling and reporting (ad hoc report generation) techniques.

Experienced in application designing, architecting, development and deployment using Qlik Sense.

Experience with data warehousing/ETL processes and database management systems such as PostGres, MYSQL, SQL.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand their analytics requirements and develop solutions to meet their specific needs.

Bachelor’s degree (honours preferred) in computer science, Statistics, Applied Math, Mathematics, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms, and creating/running simulations.

Strong Experience in extracting, preparing, and analyzing large data sets (>100 million records).

3+ years of Web Analytics experience in Google Analytics (primary) or Adobe Analytics (secondary)

Own end-to-end responsibility of analyzing online environment to deliver fully-functional tracking codes

Designing solutions to track user’s interaction onsite, and integrating massive data sets with Google Analytics 360

Strong communication skills and experience translating data concepts and objectives to senior leadership and other collaborators/customers

5+ years of experience working as an Analyst on a Data Analytics Team, within Business Operations, or something similar

Experience with Redshift or other data warehouses

Experience working as an Analyst at a top tier strategy consulting company
