Senior Business Intelligence Developer (Sql, Tableau) - Hybrid

The Information Services Group (ISG) is responsible for providing innovative technology solutions to our clients across the Institutional Client Services (ICG) organization. We work in partnership with clients across all ICG business lines, deploying solutions to increase their competitiveness, through restructuring business processes, simplifying information access and providing business intelligence around critical data.

We are looking to onboard a Senior BI Developer to design, build and maintain complex SQL code and Tableau dashboards. The successful candidate should have an extensive knowledge of the writing/optimizing SQL queries. Candidate should have knowledge of Tableau to design intuitive dashboard visualization. Strong knowledge on SQL database skills is a must.

You will have the opportunity to work with a multi-layered organization focused purely on BI and Analytics technologies across reporting, warehousing, and toolset development.

Overall, the candidate will design, implement, and maintain business intelligence function that will allow the different constituencies (management, bankers, and finance) to obtain the metrics and reports. The role will provide an opportunity to work in best-in-class analytics team with high learning curve.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay apprised of new development technologies.
• Assists in the training of end users or technical support staff to use applications.
• Produce high quality Technical & Release documents.
• BI Developer is responsible for report and BI design and development including dashboards, data visualization, charts, graphs, data migration, ad-hoc reporting, and data validation.
• Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Uses intuition and experience to complement data
• Analyzing and writing complex SQL.
• Design and develop proof of concepts.
• Provide technical walk through’ to various stake holders (QA Team, UAT Team, etc)
• Ability to analyze and interpret requirements for better business solutions.
• Ability to handle complex business logic.
• Hands on experience on tableau dashboard/reports/data sources/extracts/Prep Flow
• Interaction with business and team lead to understand the business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of SDLC
• 7+ years of experience in Tableau development and architect skills
• Excellent SQL skill and able to understand and write complex queries.
• RDBMS skill and able to understand / explain data structures.
• SQL optimization skills.
