Business Intelligence Lead Jobs

We are seeking highly motivated and capable technologists to join our Data as a Services team to work on the forefront of enabling our clients BI Analytics data strategy with a special focus on BI and Data Analytics, ETL/data curation on on-premises and on-cloud AWS Platform.

Across multiple large-scale transformation programs and in a data management context, reporting to VP of Software Development, the BI Tech Lead ill lead team members to develop ETL processes, design and build data stores and transformations, data quality, master data management on AWS platform, and coordinate team member's work into an integrated high-quality product.

Responsibilities:

• Drive data ingestion and processing in innovative ways that inform strategic priorities and decision-making across the organization.
• Implement automation and monitoring tools through a test-driven approach and mindset.
• Apply automation and innovation on new and on-going data platforms that are aligned to business strategies.
• Leading an offshore Data Analytics development team.
• Design and develop ETL processes based on functional and non-functional requirements in python within AWS platform.
• Managing our cloud data analytics platform priorities to make sure data security and privacy are top considerations.
• Build expertise in the team to expose efficient insights across data platforms in the cloud.
• Understand and adopt an Agile (SCRUM like) software development mindset.
• Execute and provide support during testing cycles and post-production deployment, engage in peer code reviews.
• Follow established processes/standards, business technology architecture for development, release management and deployment process.
• Document component design for developers and for broader communication.
• Provide data analysis and requirements within the enterprise platform.
• Design, develop and implement reporting platforms and complex ETL frameworks that meet business requirements.
• Drive the adoption of new cloud technologies to further advance our clients data transformation strategy.
• Understand the full end to end development activities from design to go live for Data Analytics development in AWS platform.
• Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure that offers a best-in-class experience for internal stakeholders including consistent extraction of value from the data
• Develop, maintain knowledge of data available from upstream sources and data within various platforms.
• Recommend and execute improvements to the data engineering team.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of adopting Data Fabric and Data Mesh and implementation frameworks.
• An expert of data warehouses/cloud architectures and ETL processes
• Sound to advanced knowledge of business, standards, infrastructure, architecture and technology from a design/support/ solutions perspective
• Experience with AWS cloud platforms (AWS Athena, Lake Formation, Redshift, Quicksight)
• Implementation experience in managing and working in multiple environments, release and change management and knowledge of firewall, network work protocols, file transfer.
• Readiness and motivation (as an experienced developer and subject matter expert) to address and resolve complex issues, guide/advise/support clients, partners and project teams, often working on multiple medium-to-large sized projects.
• Expert in Agile development methodologies
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and software engineering best practices.
• Working in cross-functional teams with exemplary communication and coordination skills
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
• You are sought out for your 5+ years’ experience of data warehouses/cloud architectures. and platforms implementation with experience implementing and performance tuning.
• You are recognized for your 8+ years of experience of IT Data platform implementation in a technical capacity.
• Working knowledge of CICD processes and source code control tools such as git.
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases and query authoring (SQL), as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
• Working experience with data modeling, relational modeling and dimensional modeling.
• Having a proven track record in leading data analytics platform projects.
