Business Analyst Jobs

This client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team to support various project initiatives. The company is going through a period of modernization of its systems and requires a BA to support and document project-related documentation that supports the implementation project of systems and processes for Operations, Human Resources, and Finance for their employees and customers.

Responsibilities :

• Thinks at varying levels, from high concept to low detail.
• Gathers, reviews, analyzes, validates, evaluates, and maps business systems, processes and user needs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support system functionality testing to ensure business requirements are fulfilled.
• Communicates – writing, speaking, and presentation- concepts and constraints completely.
• Supports project management leadership functions as a team member.
• Champions ideas and sells them to others.
• Demonstrates creative "out of the box" thinking.
• Understands and negotiates needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to understand the business flow and co-relate to system design and functionality.
• Grasps business-centric design principles.
• Performs and participates in the analysis, design and implementation of business systems following appropriate standards and requirements gathering.
• Develops and documents requirements and processes, to support system implementations.
• Works closely with functional streams to ensure all requirements are collected and fulfilled.
• Proficient in creating data models and information flows.
• Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio documents, to maintain a communication flow with all stakeholders across the organization.
• Requires strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.

Requirements :

• Must be able to meet deadlines.
• Holding any one of the following IIBA Certifications: ECBA, CCBA, CBAP would be an asset.
• Ability to function in a consultative role and support project objectives.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Requires strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Experience/knowledge of TrackTik (Scheduling), Bamboo HR (Human Resources), Apogee (Financials), or related industries’ systems, would be an asset.
• Requires 5+ years’ experience in business analysis, multiple technologies, frameworks, processes, applications, etc., or other directly related experience.
• Working knowledge of business processes and systems, programming and systems analysis procedures, project techniques, and practices.
• A combination of education and experience may meet the requirements.
• Requires a BA in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent qualifications.
• Requires strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
• Ability to understand the business flow and co-relate to system design/functionality.
