Application / Team Overview: From Shared Technology Environment(STE) we handle all administrative activities for a variety of middleware technologies. We also provide development support for hundreds of applications. This particular role is created for Content Management Administrative and development support. Our primary function is to engineer and implement technology solutions that will help application teams avoid production outages and produce quality software. Our STE services include below.

• Environment Automation
• License Management
• Reusable Tools
• Initiatives that improve productivity and result in efficiencies
• Onboarding
• SME support along with advanced troubleshooting
• Interact with SA, dba, developers and product and send requests to Architecture
• Design and Code Reviews
• Engineering
• POCs and adoption of new products

Role Description:

• Write, test programs using Unix Shell scripting, Python, Ansible; Perform unit testing
• Develop and manage interface to enable faster onboarding of Applications onto Confluent Kafka Shared Technology Environments
• All STE Services listed above
• Partner with cross functional teams across Development, Validation/QC, Production
• Design and Develop tools to standardize and automate monitoring , application support activities
• Technical support to applications on trouble shooting Environment, software and application level issues
• Infrastructure procurement, build servers, setup Shared Technology Environment and administration
• Creating, scheduling and Managing Jobs using Autosys
• Managing support services and change management using ServiceNow application
• Design and setup of server/Environment monitoring on ITRS

Qualifications:

• Team management and leadership experience and prior COE experience is required.
• Experience in configuring, executing and monitoring in Geneos Console
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with Infrastructure Management with at least 3 yrs of relevant experience of managing Kafka Infrastructure with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement
• Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions
• Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
• Strong ability to work in a highly focused technical environment together with other motivated and driven professionals, as well as the ability to work independently
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Unix Shell scripting
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
• Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
• Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
