Systems Architect Jobs

Position Summary

As a System Architect, you own the solution end-to-end. It is your solution, and nobody will know it better than you. You will work with stakeholders, estimators, and project managers. Your challenge will be to design secure, scalable projects that are on time and on budget.

What You Will Do

• From physical to application, your work will touch all layers of the OSI
• Compare and evaluate new technologies, making recommendations to the Architecture Review Board
• Design customized systems based on customer requirements, budget and CBN Architectural standards.
• Various other duties and responsibilities.

• Backup and Storage: NAS, 3PAR, Equaligic, TrueNAS, FreeNAS
• Networking: Fortigate, Layer 2, Layer 3
• Windows: 2019 Core, AD, WSUS, DNS, DHCP
• Hardware: SuperMicro, HP
• Linux: CentOS, Redhat
• Infrastructure: System Rack Design

Mandatory Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance.
• Travel to some customer sites to install hardware and infrastructure (Of course only when it’s safe!)
