Position Summary


Responsible for the maintenance and development of n-tired highly distributed applications using C#, T-SQL, WPF and services. Role is responsible for the long-term strategic responsibility for the company's technology and software development needs.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Design multi-tier web applications for customers and internal users using ASP.NET, MVC, SQL, WebApi, RESTful Web services, JavaScript frameworks and jQuery.
  • Effectively develop and maintain innovative products and be able to handle high velocity development with several projects active at any given time.
  • Lead the Requirements Definition Process for assigned work to business system analysts to produce, analyze, specify and communicate business, system and implementation requirements.
  • Effectively identify and manage requirements conflicts and issues to resolution.
  • Measure and track quality of business systems analysis work.
  • Ensure the solution (people, process and technology) meets the project objectives and is aligned with business and IT strategic direction.
  • Ensure technical teams are following standards and policies while implementing new features.
  • Lead efforts to reengineer and optimize business processes and systems by assessing business needs and developing, proposing and implementing technology solution options.
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize requirements effectively based on business value, risks and constraints.
  • Work with project leads to develop requirements work plans, identify task dependencies, develop estimates and determine resource skill requirements, support risk management and change management activities.
  • Drive innovation, concept assessments, maintain up to date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies and software development best practices.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as needed and/or requested by management.
  • Design N-Tier systems that utilize web, mobile and desktop applications as well as window services, database and reporting for internal and customer facing systems in the gaming industry.
  • Manage and oversee development teams to ensure technology aligns with the design.


Education & Experience Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, MIS or other related field is required.
  • Web development in Java JRE development a plus.
  • Minimum two years of experience in Architecture and strategy including Applications, Infrastructure, and Data within a complex, matrixed and global business environment.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with .NET platforms both leading developers and providing technical guidance.
  • Minimum of one year experience working with Azure DevOps and implementing release pipelines and continuous integration and deployment.
  • 5+ years' experience working within the Microsoft Stack including; .Net, C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, WebAPI, WPF, Window Services, Signal R, SQL Server, HTML5, Modern JavaScript Frameworks with solid understanding of their ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of SOA, Micro services, SOLID & IoC design principles.
  • IOS and Objective-C development a plus.
