Power Bi Developer Jobs

Role- Developer with Microsoft Power Platform and SQL Server – MS Power BI
Location: Mississauga, Canada (Hybrid)

This is a generalist developer role with some Project Management and Business Analyst responsibilities.
Candidate will be primarily focus on Microsoft related technology development, support and process automation. Ideal candidate should be a technical developer with various Microsoft stack experience such as SharePoint, O365, PowerBI, Power Apps, Power Automate. Strong understanding of Databases such as SQL Server is required.
In this role, he/she will be required to work directly with our business partners to identify needs, define options, align with various IT and business teams and execute. As a self-starter the candidate will be required to manage small to midsize projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•     Support existing SharePoint, PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps solutions and processes
•     Design and development as required, i.e. using Microsoft stack tools
•     Participate in other initiatives as required.
•     Provide training and follow-up support to end users.
•     Participates in other initiatives, projects and duties as assigned.
•     Manage small to midsize projects, i.e. develop timelines, tracking, status reporting, issue escalation and resolution
•     Participates in other initiatives, projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience:
•     Equivalent to a period up to and including 3 to 5 years
Education/Certifications:
•     University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
•     Any combination of relevant Microsoft certifications, SharePoint, PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps,Java, SQL
•     Salesforce and Salesforce Community experience is preferred
•     Project Management and Business Analysis certification is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•     Passion for learning new skills, process automation, machine learning, software design and development.
•     To provide training and follow-up support to end users.
•     Experience in data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, data mart modelling) and building visual BI analytics
•     Experience in data mining and information management, especially in Big Data.
•     Extensive data analysis, mapping, identify data discrepancies and data quality issues; Ensure data consistency and integrity.

•     Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•     Approachable, positive demeanor with a hands-on and team-oriented work style. Ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus.

•     Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
•     Competent with data analysis and data modeling in Excel
•     Ability to understand complex systems and processes and communicate in simple terms to a non-technical audience.
•     Proven critical thinking, investigation and problem solving skills. Ability to quickly understand and identify issues and implement solutions.
