Hr Consultant Jobs

We are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Consultant to join our HR Consulting division. As an HR Consultant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR services to our clients, focusing on the Canadian market. You will play a vital role in assisting organizations in various HR areas, including disciplinary and grievance management, policies and procedures development, employee development and performance management, and compensation and benefits analysis. This is a commission-based position, where your compensation will be determined based on successful client engagements and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Disciplinaries & Grievances:

• Conduct end-to-end management of disciplinary processes, including investigations, hearings, and documentation.
• Provide regular updates on the progress and outcomes of disciplinary and grievance cases.
• Handle employee grievances and complaints, ensuring fair and efficient resolution.

Policies, Procedures & Contracts:

• Assist in ensuring workplace health and safety compliance.
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and recommend solutions to protect the client and their employees.
• Conduct HR audits to assess clients' current practices and identify gaps or areas of improvement.
• Develop and review employment contracts, policies, employee handbooks, and termination letters.

Employee Development & Performance:

• Support onboarding planning and employee career development initiatives.
• Identify training needs and recommend development programs for employees.
• Provide training for managers and offer executive coaching when necessary.
• Implement performance appraisal systems and processes aligned with organizational objectives.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Conduct analysis of external compensation benchmarks in the Canadian market.
• Support the development and maintenance of pay equity practices.
• Implement meaningful recognition programs at the individual level.
• Develop incentive plans to enhance employee motivation and performance.
• Assist in establishing a salary structure and evaluating job performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPHR) are preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with developing policies, procedures, contracts, and HR documentation.
• In-depth understanding of Canadian HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in disciplinary processes, grievance resolution, and performance management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively advise clients.
• Proven experience as an HR Consultant or in a similar HR advisory role.
• Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Analytical mindset and the ability to analyze HR data, conduct audits, and make data-driven recommendations.
