Summary

We are looking for an experienced and creative HR Business Partner to join and help us build that culture, based in Montreal. This role will report directly to the VP People Capability function for the iGaming Division and it will work in partnership with the wider L&W People Capability team.
You will be responsible for partnering with our iGaming Americas (US, Canada and LatAm) client groups as well as our Live Casino CEO (entry into the US in Q2, starting in Michigan).
The HR Business Partner will support the talent strategies required to execute the business operations priorities and results. You will partner with the business to execute and realize the goals of our people strategy and support the strategic direction of the talent development and enablement needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner on strategic planning and execution of reward decisions, talent management, succession planning, and development.
  • Be cognizant of external social, political, environmental and macroeconomic trends affecting current and future workforce; proactively raise potential impacts and solutions.
  • Engage as a trusted advisor and strategic HR consultant to leaders across North America and Canada both in our iGaming core business and Authentic Gaming.
  • Actively engage and collaborate with the People Capability team to execute functional transformation, deliver on enterprise-wide strategic priorities, and drive positive business results.
  • Collaboratively engage across the global People Capability team and ecosystem sharing insights, offering thought leadership and a solution-oriented mindset, and participating on cross-functional priority teams.
  • Ensure strong execution of company-wide people strategies and programs while providing the voice of the business.
  • Use your in-depth understanding of the business to effect change and achieve business outcomes by proactively diagnosing issues and developing people strategy and talent management practices – to drive employee development and retention, improve organizational performance and maximize colleague engagement.
  • Drive the business talent agenda and provide clear leadership on talent management by building high-performing teams and strong alignment of leader behaviors and mindsets to a defined set of company expectations.
Qualifications
Education, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • An agile and continuous learner with personal resilience and an ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills across levels with an ability to persuade, influence, and build enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Proven track record of influencing, leading, and facilitating strategic initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Goal-oriented, accountable, and passionate about driving results.
  • Demonstrated success in developing progressive people strategies and driving process improvements.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with Master’s degree or CHRM certification a plus.
  • Ability to speak and write English and French.
