Job Description

Our banking client is looking for a Help Desk Support open for 100% Remote


Position Title:Analyst, Help Desk Support

Line of Business:Technology Support Centre

Target Start Date:9/25/2023 is the target, manager team will need to meet with Nina back on Tuesday 9/5/2023.

They are unsure if the 25th is feasible. Tentative for the 25th. Floating point start date with potential to move into October.


Potential for this contract to be extended or converted to FTE?Extension is a possibility.

Office Location:483 Bay St, 7th Floor Toronto, ON M5G 1P5, Canada

Remote role – one week in training – 43 Bay street

Work Schedule (hours per week, start time): when they first start they will be given a core hour shift.

Start time between anywhere from 7-12 PM, end is 3 to 8 pm. There may be a shift bid in January to bid on the available shifts which show potential for weekend and overnight shifts. Must have this flexibility.

Schedule flexibility is required to work shifts at various hours of the 24 clock.

Potential for OT?

Could have a possibility to work on stat holidays but otherwise no.

Must Have:

  • Comm skills – speaking as well as active listening, high WPM (typing), multitasking, busy/high pressure
  • Gear/equipment and access will be provided – candidate must have a “suitable space” at home
  • Experience with a ticketing tool – ServiceNow is good or any other
  • Ability to calm down/manage frustrated callers
  • 3 different managers – all the same request
  • 2 years of experience with tech support (+customer support)– expected to be on the phone all shift
  • 24/7 365 shift – this will not be for an overnight shift
  • Active Directory knowledge is helpful

Interview Process:

Interview Process: MS Teams Panel style interview which will be Technical in nature

With who? The hiring manager will be interviewing along with a Team lead and potentially a Director
